Apex Legends Update & Halloween Event : After hearing that the Halloween Fight or Fright event would be coming back to Apex Legends, a new update came out today.
Fans have a pretty good idea of what today’s update is about because several bug fixes have already been marked as coming in a future patch. And it won’t be long before a much bigger and better patch comes out that adds new content to the game.
Apex Legends Update & Halloween Event
There are no patch notes yet for today’s Apex Legends update, but Respawn has said that the following changes will be made in an upcoming patch:
- Players were crashing when they tried to get back into the Apex Legends game.
- Fixes: The banner was showing players as “Rookie” when they weren’t.
- Players at certain ranks weren’t getting the right ranked rewards for some seasons. This has been fixed.
- This is still a very small patch, but next week, as part of Apex’s Halloween celebrations, a much bigger one will arrive.
On October 4, the Fight or Fright event will come back with new cosmetic items to unlock and returning game modes to play.
Shadow Royale Trios will be one of them. When a Legend dies, they come back as a Shadow Form that can run on walls, double jump, revive allies, and do more damage with melee attacks.
Other Shadows can be killed with one hit, and they will keep coming back until their whole squad is killed.
Shadow Royale will go live on the Olympus After Dark map on October 4, followed by the following LTM events:
October 11–18: Gun Run on Estates After Dark, Skulltown, and Fragment East
October 18–25: Control on the Lava Siphon, the Barometer, and Labs After Dark
From October 25 to November 1, Shadow Royale will be back on Olympus After Dark.
Respawn has also confirmed that new Halloween-themed skins will be available in the store from October 4th to November 1st, with some fan favorites coming back for this year’s event.
A message from the Apex support team says, “And finally, other returning skins will be available during the last two weeks of the sales! When the Fight or Fright Event starts on October 4, we hope you enjoy our month-long party.”
